Hey Zones, if you ever think about insulating that building. Go with a good high R value spray foam. You won't believe the difference. On a hundred plus degree day you will walk in your shop and think its air conditioned. I have a regular house 95+ 120,000 btu furnace with a 5 ton central air unit in the same size shop. Its just like being in your house. Very easy to heat and cool. Well worth the cost. Our bill only went up a hundred bucks on a very hot month. Which would be probably close to what you might expect. There are no words that can express the magnitude of how nice it is, to work on a greasy or not car or truck, on a 100+ degree day, in an air conditioned shop. Pure Sweetness. Everyone should have one. Your lady will never see you unless, she comes to visit. Lol

It is in the plans. Going to be a while though. I have to expand the shop and do other things first. But one day.

I was going to do the same thing but decided to pull the trigger after getting some metal shavings blown into my eyes by the fans. Now I'm nice and cool working on everything and waiting to expand the shop and an overhead door. Still got the sliders. I thought no way I would need a bigger shop. Lol. Boy was I wrong. Lol Just got the tire machine and balancer last year. Hoping to pull off the roll up overhead door this year. But like you said, other stuff keeps popping up. Best of Luck to You.

I will be there in the Cam Motion tent. We are sponsoring True Street. If I bring my car, I will be doing True Street.

Awesome man! I'll be sure to swing by and say hi. I hope you can bring your car. Id love to see it make some passes in person and my buddy that is coming with me is a HUGE Skylark fan! He used to have a 65 GS back in the day.

That is the plan. Gonna run a ice chest with fans for AC. See if they allow it for tech as air conditioning. lol

Gave this thing a bath. Looks good with the rough edges. Lol

I know I'll be outgunned for street class. But if they threw me in outlaw street, I wouldn't even bother.

Ive never ran it before, but I like how True Street is ran. Seems like theres plenty of opportunity to be competetive with all the indexes and since theres no "winner" after each pass you dont even have to cut a good light.....just make consitent passes that average close to one of the time breaks. Should be fun.

It is a load of fun. I need to break my string of bad luck though. I won my class in 2013, ever since has been one mishap after another. Broke rear end, 2 broken transmissions and a failed needle and seat. LOL I am ready to get back to winning.

Damn! And I thought I had bad luck....lol! Im sure you'll turn it around. I havent done any testing this year outside of 1/8th mile. I really need to get to a 1/4 mile track soon but my schedule has been absolutely crazy.

Hell, at least he has had a competitive car. This is the first time since I took the 80 coupe apart I have had something worthy of racing.

Impressive how much some rattle can happens to make some junk look less junky. Scraped the adhesive off, little light sanding and taped off where the trim would be and have it a few passes with random black paint that was on the tool box.

Going to the track tomorrow.

looking good Zone, hopefully I can do some cleanup work on my car as I get all the bugs out of my new setup. E85 sure is a learning curve. A good AFR gauge is my new best friend.

Nah, want to see how hard it can run on motor first. Lol

Here is a little fun before the sun sets. I have been working on my own traction compound finally. Been talking about it for a while and I'm on to something after 3 days and money wasted. Lol
