Fuel filters
Hey guys, how many filters are you using, on my current setup I'm using a mallory 250 pump with their pre filter that screws directly into the pump, should i also have another before the carb, trying to get it right before i install my new carb, show me some setup pics.

I'm using pump gas also, the prepump filter I'm using is the mallard the screws directly into the pump, its a 40 micron, want sure if I needed another one after the pump. I'm thinking of just adding one at the intake side of the regular up front.

never put a filter after the regulator. There could potentially be a pressure drop across the filter that the regulator wont be able to account for. put it as close to the regulator as possible on the inlet side.

FYI Mallory recommends a 40 micron prefilter before their gerotor pumps and a 100 micron before rotary vane pumps. Gerotors are more sensitive to debris than rotary vane.
Running a second, 10 micron after the pump is a good idea to protect the carb passages.
