1LE and B4C are RPO code's. they can be found on the driver side door and in the glove box. 1Le is a rare handling package. B4c is the police package. both cars can be called "strippers" because they have no options. (cloth int, hardtop, no tcs, etc. etc.) do a search I'm sure you will find a lot of info about them.

A correction:
B4C = Police Package, typically no t-tops (hmmm wonder why
) . . . but other options were available. Typically were not sold to the general public, but in 2002 the B4C was made officially available to the general public, so that the GMMG ZL1 Camaro could be built.
1LE = Performance Handling Package. Originated in 1985 ( IIRC) and was built by GM until 1999. The 1LE's were basically built for road racing, stripped of the creature comforts, such as air-conditioning, stereo systems, power leather seats, automatic door locks, power trunk, cruise control, fog lamps and T-tops. Along with different coil springs, shocks and bushings, Third generation cars came with bigger brakes, manula transmissions, and an aluminum drive shaft. Four gens came with 6 speed manual transmission, aluminum drive shafts, Koni DA shocks, higher durameter bushings, stiffer control arms, bigger sway bars, and stiffer transmission mount.
In 1996 AC was standard on ALL Camaros.
In 2001 and 2002 SLP offered the suspention upgrade. The SLP 1LE could be had with any options, so in 2001 and up 1LE's could have power door locks, CD stereo, leather etc . . .

it is just a very bright aftermarket dome light the FHP puts in for paperwork and reading **** while parked in the median.
Read my window sticker, it shows it is basically a Z28 with a different RPO. Nothing different, no "heavy duty" stuff like in the old days. They were already heavy duty enough for service.
