Well, here's some pics of my cam swap in my 2000 Z28. It took all day Saturday to finish, but wow, it sounds amazing. The car runs surprisingly well for a stock tune. Stays running all on her own, lol. The cam is a Torquer V2 232/234 .595"/.598" 112 LSA and of course springs and hardened pushrods.

 

Ok, here's the video of the first start up, remember, its a stock tune. I'm surprised it stayed running, lol. Its got long tubes, ory and LM1, so its REALLY loud

Oh trust me, I already do! When I pull up to a stop light or come to a slow roll, I just turn the radio down and listen, lol LOVE IT!

I'm sure I'll love it for a long time. Cammed LS1's=pure sex. Hell, cammed V8's in general almost all sound good

how did you hold up the lifters ?? me and my buddies used pen magnets

 

I was going to use the pin magnets, but the guy helping me happend to have the lifter tool.
