hey guys a couple of months ago i had to get rid of my 94 trans am with a 383 in it due to money issues but now i have a new job and i miss my f-body im looking into a 98-02 camaro.

when i had my trans am it ran mid to high 11s after i dumped about 6grand into it but it was also street legal. I want to run 10s with as little money as possible while keeping it close to street legal since my state just did away with inspections.

I was thinking of stripping the car of all unneeded wieght (rear seats, replace the hood with a fiberglass hood etc.) long tube headers and custom x pipe, 3.73 or 4.11 gears and nitrous between 125 and 150 depending on how many miles are on the motor and how good it runs. I am going to put a roll cage in after i see what im running.

I know there is alot more i can do to the car but i want to keep it as cheap as possible but if i dont hit 10s with that i can always add more.

i think anyway you look at it, unless you buy something with a built driveline, your gonna need a tranny and rearend on top of what you listed..

 

I will sell u a low mile 02 SS that runs high 11's w/ a few bolt-on's and all u need is a 150 shot to run 10's.

 

Stop trying to sell your car! We need all the fast stock internal cars we can get!

But it 2yrs are up and time for a new project !

 

Mod the car more then and be done with it

Bolt ons /Stall/LT's/ORY/Cat back/ 373s if the car has 273s/DR's/Good tune..You should be in the 11s..Oh ya a Good driver...

 

U mean put more money into it so i loose more when i sell it.LMAO.

 

unless you live in high altitude, shouldnt be that hard. I've had a few 10sec DDs
