I couldn't take not driving my Camaro anymore. Even with a messed up clutch I drove it last night and bummed a Hurst pistol grip shifter off a buddy of mine with an agreement that I return it to him once he does his T56 swap. Made the crappy shifter installed...well...not as crappy. Crisper shifts, didn't miss a shift (save for when my clutch would be stupid). 'twas a fun ride. Enabled me to rip 1-2 after a 1500/2000 rpm launch on bald 555's.

Drove it to the beach today. Ground 1st gear in front of some cute girls, realized how badly it needs a headliner...

Weather warmed up a bit and was able to get out and clean up the engine and trans. The after that pulled the heads to start the install for of new lifters. Then bad news......

The day after getting the car for a mere $2k running with a misfire on #1

I'd help you fix it if you were closer. That would bother the absolute hell out of me. Have you tried tweaking the metal L bracket that holds it to the rad support. I've seen guys shorten that bracket and drill a new hole through it to lower it back down.

Washed and waxed her today. Tomorrow she'll get a good inside cleaning and baby oil on the weather stripping

I took my car cover off for the first time since October and got around to installing my Windstop today. I’ve been looking for one for years, can’t wait to try it out.

Ohio deserves credit for sucking way more than just 5 months out of the year, haha.

Ha very true in many parts. I average 5 months where can't drive camaro. But I go well into November if there's no snow yet.

Default Prepping for the big WRAP.

Well like all cars she had a few fender benders. So we decided to wrap her with carbon fiber hood and the rest matte black while leaving the roof factory gloss black. Oh yeah and carbon fiber for the trunk lid. Need to order some front drop springs after I took the LT1 out and new Kmember she lifted up a bit. What springs are you guys using? Ill post more pics when we continue the project.. and special thanks to Midnight Window Tint for taking on this project.. http://midnightwindowtinting.com/
