Working on header installation right now. Found a used condom wrapper shoved up underneath the car between the plastic fan shroud and the metal support running across the bottom of the car. Looks like the previous owner has some explaining to do lol!! That's not even an easy area to access unless the car is in the air

Got my '00 Z28 dyno tuned by Ed at Pro Edge Tuning in Wallingford, CT. I previously (2.5 yrs ago) installed TSP 1 7/8" LTH with an ORY and did a mail in tune by Frost. Finally forced myself to get the car dyno tuned. I read lots of good reviews about Mongillo Motors and found out that they are now called Pro Edge Tuning. Billy tunes the Fords and Ed tunes the LS/LTs.
Anyway, glad I got the car tuned because the car was running an average AFR of about 15 and it was really spiking up at WOT. That was the first thing Ed fixed, which brought the car from 309 rwhp to 328 rwhp. Then he found out via my TPS that my throttle was only opening 82% when the pedal was to the floor. Ed adjusted that then made a few other tweaks to the tune and the car made 341.7 rwhp at 5874 rpm. The only mods the car has that would affect rwhp are an SLP lid with a K&N filter, polyurethane motor mounts, the TSP LTHs with ORY, and no muffler. The tune was done on a Mustang Dyno and my rear tires are 275/40ZR18s.
I am really happy with Pro Edge Tuning overall. My car sounds better, performs better, is running MUCH healthier, and might even get better gas mileage. My goal was to get at least 325 to the rear wheels
. At 341 hp/ 322 ft-lb of torque, I'm crossing that off the list.
buttoned up new k member and a arms, started on cage, found some rust on tubs so decided to mini tub it while I wait on rear end and machine shop...as I explain to wife that original budget didn't include safety. works every time lol
Dropped the girl off the trailer, took her for a long over due ride to blow the cobwebs and dust off...oh did she like getting out and stretching her legs
I forgot how sketchy she is on the street sometimes...1-2 shift under power at 7000K started looking like that slippery when wet sign
