this has been posted in another tread but i think it is important to be here. there is talk about a new platform that will be shared by chevy, pontiac, buick, holden, ect. this writer sounds very confedent that this is a sure thing but we will see. i would say that we have a month or so to get an exact answer weather the camaro is coming back or not, but this is a good sign. i just hope this guy isnt just tring to sell thousands of magazines. we will see.

From the info we've gathered, the Camaro will be back in 2007 as a 2008 model on the Zeta platform along with the GTO and possibly a Buick variant. Not sure where the official assembly will be held but Oshawa Ontario is a prime candidate. Companies are already bidding on parts for the Camaro.

At the Sat nite banquet at Camaro Superfest The Fbodfather told us "hang in there, it's coming". The next speaker was John Cafaro, designer of the 4th gens, he said he has seen "NOTHING AT ALL about a new camaro".
So I guess we will see.

it seems to me every time they try to "bring something back" it's not near what it use to be, but we will see. Hopefully they will stick with the same pricing as the 4th gens were and options available (not make us have to spend $30k on a full optioned car).
