I have some extended bolts that I was able to use to mount the tank but noticed that up top on the front of the tank there is some metal to metal contact so I'll have to address that. The all thread will be here tomorrow and I'll finalize this thing and move onto the rest of the fuel system but just from looking at the pictures there's still some more work to do on the straps to get them to fit correctly.

Nasty Performance LS1 Race Sump Fuel tank installation completed.

I think I'm going to install the pump and filters in the floor of the trunk where the t-tops would go. I'll just have to build a compartment there and seal it off as this looks to be the safest place to protect everything.

UPDATE:

I drilled the new rotors with a 3/4" drill bit and had to massage them some to get the clearance needed to slide over the studs and was able to re-use/re-shape the factory brake hard lines in order to make them work. Next up is the coil overs and getting this bad boy up in there but I ran into an issue with the supplied aluminum washers and lug nuts not working with my D10's so I'm looking at either machining the wheel to accept them or machining the washers and lug nuts to fit whichever will end up being the cheapest.

That’s coming together really well. I might have missed it, but are you going to mini tub it? I was looking at doing a mini tub kit. It’s funny that the kit only cost $200, but takes an act of (insert your deity of your choice) to get it installed.

Yeah slowly but surely and I'm hoping to get it done by this fall but we'll see. The wheels were designed to fit in the stock wheel well and a 28x10.5 slick fits once you've beat out some of the areas. I like the idea of a mini tub and wonder if it will allow for a taller tire without shortening the axles and narrowing the rear end but my guess is no.

Thanks you two. My dog loved to run and gun and this has been no doubt the most painful loss I've ever been dealt and I'm heartbroken. We picked up his remains today and I take comfort in knowing that a part of him is finally back home with his family.

I was forced to make the difficult choice of putting down my 12 year old Siberian Husky Shelby she had terrible seizures the later part of her life, and it got beyond the ability to control with medication and she took longer to rebound from them. Physically she was great, but sometimes she wouldnt be herself for weeks. The day before I made the choice I found her in the bottom of a cave. she was so disoriented she wondered down there and couldnt get out.

I can sympathize a lot with how you are feeling right now. It gets better

Always thinking about you Toby. Try to think of all the good times we had together and I'll forever miss my running buddy.

I do have his six month old son and I wasn't going to take a pup but I'm glad that I did as it's helping to ease the pain. When it came to hunting you could rest assured that if there was a bird down then Toby would be the first one to find it. Gunny is picking up some of the thigs Toby knew as he's got his dad's prey drive and it's nice to see him hunt. He moves like the old man in some ways and it's nice to watch but I would've loved to have seen them two hunt together.

beautuful Brittanys my parents had one they are super smart animals and incredibly loyal. after about a month of what ill call silence, house didnt feel right so we chose to get another husky. Its hard not to make comparisons and sometimes I still question of I made the right choice, but there is a strong bond with our new pup and she is more attached then Shelby who liked being in the room with you at best. Charlie is way more affectionate and wants to be close which is actually a good thing with our 5 year old son and for me cause I lost my garage buddy.

Been working on the car some to get my mind off of things. Long block is finished and I'm just waiting for a letter "R" drill bit to show up so I can drill and tap the block for the ICT F-body alternator mount. Gonna be dropping the k-member back down this weekend and with any luck I'll have the engine and transmission installed by the end of the month.
