I don't know, but they're always calling people around here soliciting. I've heard these kind of stories for years (regarding special treatment if you put their sticker in the back window). It kind of reminds me of the stuff that goes on in third world countries...

Im worried as hell about getting tickets here, not that theres many cops (at all) on the streets (theres probally 1/50 of what it is over there, you hardly ever see a cop here), the problem is traffic cameras . Also law is if you get 3 in one year or 4 in two years time you lose your license, for how long Im not sure. Also if you go over a certain speed you lose your license, I read in the paper some kid in his dads new SL500 did 120mph racing a Skoda that was a cop car (yeah alot of cops cars cant be spotted as they are unmarked, like a Ford Focus stationwagon - gotta look for the uniform), the kid lost his license for like 6 months because of it (might have been 4 though).

Im thinking about getting some of that spray that claims it wont allow the cameras to capture your plate, but hey... Theres only one other TA in the country (as far as I know) thats the same color as my, so I dont think that would work out too well.

I wonder if anyone has tried getting one of those high-powered portable spotlights and shining it at the cameras when passing them.

I got one for 55 in a 35 once, got an exhibition of acceleration and speeding. I got stopped once for 96 in a 35 and didn't get anything but a verbal warning for it. I got lucky as hell on that one, usually my luck isn't so great.

if you go 19 mph or slower you can opt to take defensive driving and the ticket wont hit your record. and you can do this in each state. but go 20 mph or faster and your screwed. trust me i know

a lot of times you hear about those high speeds in low zones getting warnings, it must be a shitload of paperwork or something they dont want to deal with

59 in a 45, At the time I had a lightly modded Eclipse GST with a really bad slipping clutch. I was racing my friend in his gay *** saturn pulled him hard just pedaling the gas because of the clutch going down the Atlantic Blvd. bridge. I was going 90, saw the cop slammed on the brakes, and my car only being about 5-6 iches off the ground just nosedived, broke the rears loose, and scraped the whole front end of the car on the road. He didn't even put on his lights, just drove forward in the emergency lane, I just pulled over. He walks up to the car and says, "do you know how fast you were going?" I said, "before I hit the brakes or afterwards" and he responds "before the front of your car ate up the road". I said 95 and he said 90. He asked me why I was going so fast and I said because I was stupid and he started laughing. He asked for my license / registration and where we were headed to (2 other people in car). Told him school and he said he'd give me a break. The only good things to come out of this were 1. My clutch was messed up otherwise I would have been 120+. 2. He didn't arrest me and 3. he only wrote the ticket for 59 instead which was a $300+ difference. Got really lucky and learned my lesson on that one.

I had a 98 in a 65 in Ohio and the cop told me that if I was going two more miles over the speed limit he would be taking me to jail, at the time 35+ in Ohio was a felony. I told the Ohio trooper if he was down another block he would of been taking me to jail. LOL

I had some worn out nitto's on the car coming back from Atlanta to Jacksonville, FL. A couple guys that I was riding with went ahead and I stayed slow through the rain because of traction issues. After I got out of the rain, I plugged in the radar and pinned it to about 145 for a couple miles. 4 state troopers decided to hide behind a cement over pass and use "instant on" radars.

145 in a 55, turns out the FHP that pulled me over was my teacher in Jr. High Law Studies as well as in high school. I got off with a warning and a pretty long talk.

I would love to see that ticket! I got stopped doing 120 in a 40. I was driving to East Strousburg to see my freind Shan. I wanted to top out my old Sonoma Gt. I saw it coming. I was ****** flying and I saw a car pull up slowly off the side of the road. I switched lanes and slowed down to like 70 he switched lanes. I knew I was fucked and put my hazards on and pulled myself over before he even hit the lights. I yes sir no sired the **** out of him. No excuse sir. I was being an ******* sir. He let me go and told me to slow the **** down. He could of had my license. I was just talking to him telling him I am going to school. I fucked up. I respect what he is doing and I was endangering myself and those around me. I would buy that cop a freakin dinner if I knew his name. I was saying my hail marys and praying on the rosary.

I got in a Race with the MESA, AZ Police chopper...

130 in a 45 and hit the GOV in a 65 MPH. The ticket read 165+ but not to sure the car would go that fast... I know i was racing a vette and he said at 160 was when he started to really pull away so I think thats the stock GOV...

Well, 2 things..

God's good grace = I was in my old Ford Probe GT racing an Eclipse on RT8 N in Watertown, CT. The lil' bitch was passing me on the left and slowed down to look at me (with that gay emo look) and took off. I caught up to him and easily took down his 140hp fabulisticly gay 4 banger, and as I was passing him at a lil over 100 we both fly by a cop who immediately puts on his lights and gets in pursuit. I slowed to about 80 figuring oh damn.... this is going to suck.. but the eclipse slowed WAY down; I was 100% stock, he had a fart can w/ clear tail lights and tints w/ chromies, so the cop chose the eclipse and pulled him over, I just kept goin at 80 and got off the highway and took the back roads to where I was going. Later that day I saw the cop (probably about an hour later) and I know he looked at me wondering if it was me, but I stayed clear away from that highway for a while. (55mph zone).

My worst ticket in the Camaro was a double whammy, in the HOV lane alone (idiot cars everywhere so I just got in that lane.. was the middle of Saturday light traffic) doing 80 in a 65. Pled not guilty the prosecutor just threw it out and said "have a good one." I've really done much worse and have honestly learned to slow the f down because next time I doubt I'll be that lucky... all God's grace!!!
