97 ex- police camaro help... just thought i would ask you guy's on some tech info on this car. 97 z28 lt1 with alum heads did they all come with these heads and what else might be done to this car for what is was built for to hall *** and get the bad guy. any info would be great....thanks <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

Re: 97 ex- police camaro help... all LT1 f-bodies came with aluminum heads. the car is nothing special other than a 1LE option which is pretty cool. horsepower wise, they didnt have any more horsepwer than a regular f-body. as for all of the equipment that comes on the police package, i wouldnt be able to tell you, i believe a transmission cooler and larger radiator or something to that extent but i could be WAY out in left field with that info.

Re: 97 ex- police camaro help... What you have is not too far from the 1LE Camaro. The Police packages, came with the heavy duty shocks, springs, breaks, and bushings. I have also heard from the cops that the cars are chiped to make more horses.

Re: 97 ex- police camaro help... Taraysr, you are correct when you say they couldn't have put a "chip" in it cause its not a 93. But that doesn't mean they couldn't have a different computer program in it to do the exact same thing. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

Re: 97 ex- police camaro help... well can you tell what the car would be worth?????? the car is loaded no leather... 54k on the miles and pretty darn clean and a roll bar just in case..and it has the 1LE package. so what the car worth 5k,7k,or10k...........thanks <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />
