Question Car seat.

I just had a baby boy and I am having a problem. I dont want to sell the camaro and nither does the wife. I can not seem to find a way to put a car seat in the car because it does not have the hooks in the rear or a locking rear seatbelt has anyone else had any luck puting a car seat in a camaro? If so please tell.

I do this every day in my '98 Z.
Your car seat should have came with a locking clip.
Just put the car seat in and pull the seat belt as tight as possible, after that take both parts of the belt and use the clip to hold the belt in that position.
Make sure you put the seat in front all the way forward so the car seat does not hit the seat back.
The clips you are refering to are for the "Latch" system. These were not in place in most vehicles until I believe 2000/2001.
Good luck, and don't sell the camaro.
If I can help you anymore just im me or send me an e-mail.

I took the back cushion out off my T/A so the seat would sit flat.

if thats a 2002 camaro then it should have the hooks in the back seat, it was a legal safety standard, unless it was deleted for government cars, but i dont see why.

I removed the botom part of the seat and there are no hooks designed for the car seat but I might be able to rig it to the seatbelt hardware.

I've had 3 different car seats on 2 different fbodies. Two foward facing car seats and one rear... The locking clip should've came w/ your car seat.

I've had 2 car seats in my Z28 since I purchased it. Use the pictured clip, and pull them down tight. They actually seem to fit better in the semi-buckets than a traditional flat back seat.

Don't sell your Camaro!!!
Thats y I bought a Camaro, not a vette....cause it can haul my little guys!

Use the clip, that's how I install my son's rear facing car seat.
Also I do not believe the camaro's ever had the anchors on the bottom. My 2001 only had the the anchor located in the trunk. And since your car is a B4C it may not have had it ever installed.
