Default Drove a police edition Camaro Z28

Yesterday my mom was at her friends house that lived really close to us. My mom said that her friends brother had a police edition Z28 and that i should come over and he would take me for a ride in it. So i get to the house and we start talking and he said that he would take me for a ride. When we were walking to the car, he asked if I had my license and i said, no I'm only 15 but i have my permit. And out of no where he hands me the keys and i was in shock. Anyways, he lets me drive it for a while then he takes over and does 100mph down a road. He had a small cam, Yokahoma tires, and hypertech and a whole bunch of cool police stuff. It was bad@$$

Yup, just a B4C Camaro (A4 Z28). Nothing special.

Haha. well, how often do you hear about a 15 year old driving a Z28? Especially a police edition one with the LS1

Also FYI, the police editions are officialy not Z28s...they are "Camaros" ...look at the option sticker on the door ...no Z28 badges either.

How's that for confusing

And the LS6 intake manifold comes on the 2001 and 2002 LS1's. But you all are missing my point. I just thought it was cool that I drove a Camaro Z28 cop edition.

I'll admit, if I was 15 and able to drive a police car and a Camaro at that, I would be pretty excited myself. I would be excited to drive that car now and I am much more than twice your age.

That will be a cool story that you can tell your kids and your grandkids about when the time comes.

and they told me not to play with matches!!

Sometimes I still find myself playing with fire, and im 17 I just play smart with it, not in the house, away from gas and hotwater heaters and so on.

15 hummm that was a life time ago (2+ by your standards) lets see at 15 I was driving a 69 ford with a 390, my brothers 70 mach1 and a sand rail,
and I THOUGHT these were fast.... so a LS1 for you, yea I can see your excitement. just think what you maybe driving by the time you are some of our ages. and you will know me I will be the little old man with thin hair right on you bumper screaming use it or move it
