Default 98 1LE Camaro For Sale on ebay....seller is a real salesman!!!!

Found this on ebay and this guy is realllly trying to talk this car up!!!! Now i know the 1LEs are rare. With that said im not bashing this car in any way. Just at how he describes some stuff. Like his "Japanese export tail lights" that cost him 350 bucks. Which im no camaro expert but they sure as hell look stock to me

And Lastly im a little doubtful of his horsepower claim....Smooth lid and full catted exhaust
His 0-60 claim seems a little out there to me too but he does have 3.73s
What do you guys think?

Well he is a good seller thats for sure, but those tail lights are not the ones that have been sold in the USA or Europe. Good looking Z28.

Check on ebay, the export tail lights (which he does indeed have) normally run a few hundred, plus shipping. Not quite $350, but still.

Aren't those taillights plug and play? Ie. no wiring change required.

Yeah, he's pretty proud of the car. I think his starting bid is about where the car will sell at, given the 60K miles. As you can see, he has no bids yet.

I would be embarrased to admit I paid labor to install a shifter or taillights!

Yea i do see how the tail lights are different now but i guess at least they are not the euro tail lights haha.

Yea i would be to being that it takes about 3 min. to switch them both

What does everybody think about the 370 rwhp with just a lid, and full catted exhaust?

And just so everybody i knows i do think its nice just the way he states it is funny.

I'm 99% sure they just plug and play. Just rearranging the colors. I think they look awesome, just because the lines line up like the lt1 lights, but I prefer having amber turn signals.

Nope that's not true. Because none of the camaros over here has those rear lights. Neither have the ones from Germany those lights.

Thats a nice Camaro, but his price was a little too high. I hope he is really proud of that car cause he's gonna get to keep it for $16,000. Cool car though I never knew you could get the gfx package on a 1le.

Pretty clean for a 60,000 mile car, and I'm not usually a fan of the gfx package, but it looks good on that car. But, no way I'd give 16.8k for the buy it now price.

They're Japanese spec taillights.

Default Hmmm.....

Funny how when my girl was looking for a car, this came up:

http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...TAFSRCHUSDTEXT

I think this autotrader guy is a liar. Especially considering the car is Illinois plates and he claims it is in Iowa. The price seems kinda low too.

That is the same car. He had one bid on ebay for 12K and is selling it for 5+K on autotrader. I smell something fishy.
