Brake booster vacuum line on truck intake
I was going to hook up my brake booster vacuum line to my truck intake manifold. It looks like there should be some sort of nipple on the back of the intake, but all that is there right now looks like some sort of "QD" type connetction for a nipple.
Anyone have a picture or have a part number of what I need to be using?

Here's a pic, you need to take out the one on the left and replace with the one on the right. If you were closer I'd just let you have this one, but it would probably cost more to mail it than it would cost for a new one at the stealership. But if you can't come up with one let me know.

I want to bump this thread because I had the same problem. I just took the plug to my drill press and tapped it to the right size, then inserted it back in. No shipping charge required, no trip to the dealer.
Good luck.
Good luck.

Intake brake booster block off plug when push red ring does whole plug come out or just center piece? Does nipple for hose fit into center piece push back in and red ring seal it to intake? 5.3 liter vortec in a 2004.
