wiring a 2007 and up alternator?
2 pin connector, not 4. do i have to use the diode? which wire shoud get power?
it works as a 1 wire, but seems to drop off voltage as load increases...and i know my car isnt creating anywhere near the amp load this thing is rated for...

When you get the connector...
The brown wire goes to pin 15 of the Green ECM connector and the Gray wire goes to pin 75 also in the Green ECM connector.
The ECM will then control the Alternator.

Gray is the Field Duty Signal so that needs 12 volts (Ign on).
Brown is for one side of the Idiot light. 12 Volts (Ign on) the other side of the light. Otherwise a 470 ohm resistor between this wire and 12 volts (Ign on).
