The Evapo-rust is great stuff......Anything with rust just throw it in the bucket for a day...........Others on large items have positioned a small Kiddie pool with the solution and a small pump and run the solvent against the metal so it drains back into the pool ......That works great also.......

Ken, I don't know if you saw it but Hot Rod Magazine put a picture of your 66 Impala up as the cover photo for the Power Tour 2014 Facebook page.

Congrats!

That picture was taken coming down out of the mountains going to Chattanooga.............I've got 14,000 trouble free miles on the Impala......Gonna be hard to top that car.....my favorite of all time!!! Just had to do some heavy maintainance on it though...........Changed the Oil and Filter.....

First off......I would like to thank the person who brought my horns back and put them in the garage on the table in plain view........Thanks........

Now.....I got that mess of wires all cleared up in the front of the car.......I hooked up a temporary power feed and checked out the lights.........They actually worked......LOL........I bought an American Autowire Classic update wiring kit and they have anticipated any combination of options and or Gauge/Engine options......I was intimidated by the amount of wires and circuits in the beginning.....but......after looking at what I really needed to hook up....I started removing wires from the bulkhead .......Example.......with the Speartech LS harness, most everything is taken care of in that harness.....blending it into the system is as simple as a fuel pump lead a couple of grounds and keyed ignition power and Battery........That's about it......The Auto engine harness had a bunch of wires in it.....I ended up using 4 wires.....one for the Solenoid and three for the windshield wiper/ Pump assy.......The forward lamp harness was about as simple....about the only major thing I have left to do is tackle the inside.......That's next.....Hopefully the wheels and tires will show up soon also.......

Been working on the car every day........I am just about finished with the wiring in the Engine compartment......got the fan relay's installed along with the Battery cables, Dakota digital lines for the relays......fuel system wires all installed for the Vaporworx system.......The pressure Module was just finished up and is in transit....I also have all the Vintage Air wires hooked up........I also have the trans cooler lines fit and installed..........This Voltmeter guy stuff never ends.......But.....I did spin the engine over today.......Getting close.......No pictures of progress because everything looks the same......LOL.....Getting close to tackling that pile of wire on the inside of the car......

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I don't know how you turn these things out so fast! Looking good! Still waiting to see what you find out on the donor car, has to be a good story in there somewhere.

Merry Christmas, Ken! (Take a break for a day, will you?)

Looking good Ken. How did you like the stink tubing on the gas tank straps? Didn't encounters any problems during assembly? Pics?
