Default 64-67 chevelle pcm locations

ok so still planning out my 67 chevelle LS 6l swap - and today was wandering around with that huge chunk of aluminum we call a pcm
I can find no suitable place for it as it takes up so much room

so you guys out there who have done these early chevelle swaps - where did you locate your PCM?

there is no room under my dash, nor on the firewall, so maybe on the inner fender like the factory truck does?

HELP!!!!!

I am running mine on the LH fender up high. The plug just peeks out under the edge of the fender brace. Its behind the relays in the picture. The two stainless cap screws are actually holding the pcm, piece of aluminum angle to two bolts on the pcm and then bolts to the fender. Second picture shows the cover over the fuse block and relays.

Mine is located in the trunk . I did modify my rear seat bottom as to not crush the wires and will have a center console that runs from the dash to the rear seat . JOHN

I put mine inside on the top of the tunnel and built a console that hides it all. My buddy put his on the firewall under the fender so it's hidden well.

What harness are you going to use? That will narrow your pcm locations down.

Lost the glove box for mine but it makes a convenient spot for a stock length 4th gen F-body harness.

I have a PSI harness and mounted computer behind and above factory gauge cluster. Plenty of room, harness was long enough and didn't loose glove box or put it where it could get wet.
