Default 6.0 truck motor LS conversion

I'm sure this is on the forum somewhere but i cannot find it

I have a 6.0 iron block motor out of an 2003 2500 chevy truck that i am converting to LS intake. Need to know what i have to do to relocate alternator to clear intake. I think i need a different water pump too? Using Vintage ac. compressor mounted on lower passenger side

Any help would be greatly appreciated

i believe there are some running F-body accessory mounts and shimming them out to meet the water pump. I am making my own alternator mount its all the way down at the bottom- power steering on the passenger side! THere are several custom mounts for this online for sale, none i think look that great, but they are out there.

Here ya go,2010+ Camaro water pump, cut down truck mount, home made alternator plate,98ish alternator converted to one wire hook-up, and idler relocate.Bounced it off the rev limiter more than once,no jumped belt or rubber powder anywhere.

That would be a Corvette/Camaro set up,to do that you have to replace everything including the balancer. What vehicle are you putting the 6.0 into?

Kwik performance and Holley both make accessory kits that will work with the existing truck belt spacing (water pump and crank pulley).

Hard to believe a search didn't turn up those options for you.
