I think the GM part# for the f-Body oil pan has changed to 12628771, can anyone confirm this? I found this on Pace parts website. Also anyone know of a better deal on this pan?

Time to admit I'm a complete 'tard. I'm in need of a shallower pan than the truck pan I'm currently using (03 Tahoe 5.3L) I found plenty of info in this thread but when i try to use www.car-part.com to locate the correct pan (f-body) the olny options I'm seeing are for a 5.7l or 3.8l motor.
So what year Camaro/firefird am I looking for in order to get the correct pan, tray, dipstick?
Told ya I'm a 'tard.

V1 & V2 CTS-V Oil Pan Photos
CTSV came with 3 diff engines. The LS6, and the LS2, but both have the same PN for the pan at the moment. they may have been diff before, but i do not know on that one. Then the LSA is a diff pan as well. So really there are only 2 pans for the CTSV. The LS2/6 and the LSA
The LSA pan has cast-in mounts for the oil cooler, a different the boss for the oil level sender, and the larger thread size for the oil filer. Everything else (dimensions, internal baffling, windage tray, ect.) is the same.

It's a good looking pan but I would like to see some dimensions.
Also, the windage tray is abbreviated and correspondingly, the front of the pan looks awfully shallow. I wonder if it would clear a 4" arm with an aftermarket h-beam type rod (Callies/Manley/Carrillo) ?

Looks similar to an F Body pan. But.......it appears to have a re-profiled floor at the front. The F Body pan has a rod bolt clearance notch cast in. Looks like the MAST pan has this clearance taken one step further. Though yes it would be nice to hear what MAST has to say about this area.
