John,
The one I posted was one from the Hummer, not the LS3 Camaro.

Default A new LSX Hot Rod pan from Holley? ! !

How did Holley sneak this one out without anyone knowing it was coming? I found it while looking at the new intake manifolds Holley is coming out with for LSX motors. Check it out!

Here is a video of the pan I found on You tube:

Here is the Holley promo ad from their website

OK question, is this just a Holley badged version of another aftermarket pan?
And will the price be competetive with the $130 LH8/H2/muscle car pan? I'm doubting that part......

I don't know what swaps the LH8 pan is actually good for. Everything I have heard about that pan is that it is way too deep and has all kinds of ground clearance problems. Most of the Camaro and A-body guys say it hangs almost 2 inches below the crossmember.

Ive got a LH8 pan collecting dust right now cuz it didnt fit my G body and hung too low. Dont waste your time with it. Get a pan mod'ed or get a Canton/Autokraft one.

I just spoke with Travis at Holley about the new LS Retrofit pan that they announced at SEMA. They said that it will not be available til' sometime 1st quarter 2011. So, at this point, I am still waiting for the Mast Performance pan.

i would have to say the holly pan looks just like the lhx pan. the front looks to deep to work on a body cars. the mast pan has the shallow front to clear the tie rods. just wish they would have the mount on the back for the trans to bolt up to. i have a lh8 just sitting and had a autokraft that i sold because the headers hit the oil filter block. it is good to see some more pans on the market.

Mast pan leaving a gaping hole underneath My LY6/4L80e? F*%$ing great. I guess it's between Holley and retro for my 69 Camaro.

This seems to be the theme with these oil pans. Each one has it's attributes, but is not perfect for everybody.

For me, the Mast is a better choice because it is lower profile at the front. This is a big deal for steering arm clearance on A-bodies. And, since I am running the old school 200-4R, I don't need any transmission bolts.

If you are running a Camaro, as listed in your signature, why not just use the JZ Motorworks pan?
http://jzmotorworks.com/LS1Pan.html

It has the trans bolt holes.

Wow Holschen, if you refine that a bit, it could be a sticky in the a-body section!

Default Mast Hot Rod Oil Pans are almost ready.

Mast just posted in their Facebook that 15 pans will be done for the end of next week. When I ordered mine on the phone with Chris, he said the dipstick is not included. He said the pan uses LS3 dipsticks à la 2010 Camaro.
