Just finished this project after about 8 months of work.
LS-1 is bolted to a TKO-600 with a RPS lightweight clutch and flywheel.
Carb is a holley DP 780 cfm
I stayed with manual clutch linkage aswell
pipes are modified hooker sidemounts (Rick Crane out of Melbourne, FL did the pipework and did an awsome job at at it)

I highly reccomend the Sweet Thunder chambered mufflers. They are like glasspacks without the glass packing and you weld them on 'backwards'. I had them on my 01 Z06. Made 465rwhp 422rwtq on a stock bottem end 2 years ago. I also ran them on my previous lt1 car and i'll be running them on this car as soon as i decide that the 3" straight pipes are too loud.
