So...when I see the car, I think of this.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OCAjmuA1HDk Wish I could find an LS1 on the cheap.

Yes, I did all the polishing myself. I don't think I'll be polishing the intake anytime soon. The last intake I did I had about 10 hours in.
Thanks

Well slow and steady.
Brakes are done. I'm working on the fuel system and wiring.
I received the throttle body today.
only about 152 things left on the list
the good news is that my wallet has lost a lot of weight so I should pick up some more et.
Oh and I've been working on the GN in my spare time also.

Hmm, are you on Turbobuick.com? I'm doing an LS-1 Maverick, my other "rod" is a GN powered '96 S-10 short-cab fleetside. I'm S10xGN over there too.

very cool pinto. I totally dig the 4 barrel throttle bodies. I'd like to see this car run when it's done.

Had to sand the final coat with linseed oil on a vintage front door in the shop but I had to come back and say my buddy had a great running Maverick in high school. I loved that car and it whipped most everything else in it's class including my '74 Hornet X....[yeah, long story about what the salesman said to my dad about what Z28 meant in 1973]. I sure hope to see what the LS motor looks like in that damn skinny engine bay. I might just have to sell that 67 stepper and find me a Maverick.

Thanks, I'd like to see it run to. I'm having some good times working on it. My brother stole my throttle body and intake So I had him order the four barrel TB. Should work really well with the nitrous.
O, Here is my old intake and throttle body

Got a build thread on that maverick?
I started a few threads, mainly concerning build questions and header stuff. Not a "real" thread on the project though...

I'm picking up a rust free '75 white car that has been stored inside for the past 25 years from the original owner for $100. Hes'n his late 80's and wants it gone. I have several LS1 engines and trans. Just need the front sump pan and vette side mounts...."maybe" a stronger differential......

I hear there is a twin turbo LS1 Pinto in KC area but no luck finding any more info. :-(
