ok stop with the damn fuel pump. i am running the walbro and thats it. if it goes out then you people can say something. but until then

got in the 32 spline input shaft for the t-case and the shifter cable today

i am leaving today to go to Australia for 12 days so there will be no real updates

another update before i leave. all my ls6 stuff came today. i just put in the cam. will do the springs when i get back. i now have everything i need to put the motor/tranny/t-case in.
just got a stock harness/ecm for $200

build total $3842

just got back today. Had a wiring harness/ecm, 2bar map, bolts, and a shift kit waiting for me. just like christmas.


just need to order the turbo stuff now.

i was only getting the hardware out. i just didnt use my wrist for a week.

I hate to beat a dead horse but the walbro pump is just fine. I've used them 5 times in my own builds, 7 times for friends cars and about the same for customers cars and only had one pump ever die on me. That was partially my fault as I was building my own dual in tank set up and wired it wrong. Oh and the 65 is pisser! Looks bad *** skimming down the raod! G

i also finished putting the cam, timing chain, and water pump back on.

worked on it some today.

finished the shift kit install


finished the oil pan


some of the welds


hoping to put everything in tomorrow

i also bought a wideband o2 $270

build total $4112 ahhh! passed the 4k mark. will order turbo/bov/wg on monday

i dont know if you've seen. ether ligenfelter or duttwiller did a all wheel drive s-10 or s-15 with an ls motor. very cool cant wait to see track times

got alittle done today. motor, trans, t-case all in. making motor mounts right now

ready to go in



testing without tranny


with tranny and t-case bolted in


steering clearance with stock manifold upside down. might work with a new shaft and some grinding

made the motor mounts. i just have to weld them together. i placed everything based on the stock truck manifolds fitting. the motor is alittle farther forward than it normally would and alittle higher. about 1/4" clearance with the steering and heater box thing.

Might wanna have those manifolds coated or something. I wouldn't want them that close to things...Might melt the heater box...

id say make a log style manifold... dont bother wasting time making headers, and the manifolds look like they point in a weird direction/ hit stuff/ weigh a ton.
