It's actually supposed to be taller than it is. Somehow I got 12" wing stands instead of the 16" I ordered, but will figure that out later once the car is running and try to exchange for 16". And I will definitely have lunch on it.

Couple pictures from last night:

No more major updates until it's running, but I'll post a crapload of pictures later on.

I got a couple of Moroso spiral-flow mufflers installed on the headers with v-band clamps. That should be a good enough exhaust for now just to quiet it down a little. Also got the aluminum subframe bushings in. Big thanks to Dat and Kareem for helping out.

SPL suspension parts came in today, so hopefully will have suspension on tonight. Then just fuel tank/line, p/s lines, oil lines, gauges, and wiring left to install.

Really amazing...please post videos when you're done.

That front wheel is going to tuck in the fender with some more camber and a stretched tire?

I only have a pair of the white wheels. I'm using them to switch out on the back. The "good" set of wheels should be coming this week? Maybe? Oh pretty please? The fronts will be 17x9.5. That's 18x10 in the pic.

Mel, still haven't gotten sandpaper, will do that once car is moving. Drop off my passenger seat if you have time this week.

So here are some pics. Some are old (like rod bolts and clutch stuff) but just downloaded them from my camera.

It's either a GTO pan, or a custom-sumped pan. The 240 has a rear steering rack setup, so you'll need a front-sumped pan.

*edit*
Miro, are you still going to be using the coil-near-plug ignition system? I noticed that you didn't have any coils installed yet.

The pan on there is a GTO. As for the ignition system, the coils will be going back on just haven't gotten around to putting them back on. Hopefully the car will be completely done in the next 2 or so weeks so he can start breaking in the clutch and then off to the first event approx. beginning of May if possible.

Yes a couple pages back he posted that he bought a front sump pan. His motor is originally from a Firebird which has the shallow rear sump pan that I need, and he's only a couple miles down the road from me.

Cool build. One thing I would suggest is converting that bender to hydraulic so you don't have to crank on that bar and so you can mount it to a cart to move it around the shop. A couple of my friends have done it to theirs, it's not expensive.
