5.3 in a 2000 escalade anyone do it?

5.3 in a 2000 escalade anyone do it? Im looking at 2000 escalade tommorrow with 5.7 and 150000 on it,for dirt cheap.very clean.I have 2 motors on stand by if need be i got a zz4 motor with 15000 on it and a 2001 5.3L truck motor complete wiring harness,pcm.If the motor goes id like to swap in the 5.3 but not sure how the electronics are on the 99-00 escalades,same as tahoe and yukon danalis.Ive already done ls1 swaps in older cars so i know whats entailed,just not sure about the theft part.I have a 2004 cadillac srx and the electronics in that thing is crazy.Anyone done a swap?It runs great right now but im looking at down the road just in case.I have efi live v1 and v2 so tuning anything on it is no problem.

well the swap is very strait forward considering that the truck already has a 4L60E in it. If you are interested, I have a step by step PDF of the swap somewhere on my computer that someone had documented. It retains the stock computer for the gauges and tranny stuff and uses the 5.3/6.0 computer for the injection. You utilize all the LS truck accessories.
