2000 corvette fuel filter help please!

2000 corvette fuel filter help please! I'm running a 2000 corvette fuel filter/regulator. There is a fuel line and return line on the inlet side. Which is which? I thought the smaller diameter one(the one in the center) is the inlet one, but I can't get fuel to go through it.

You are using a returnless fuel rail, right? That's why it's there. The excess fuel has to go somewhere, you can't deadhead the pump. If you're using a fuel rail with a return the Corvette FPR won't work.

Thanks guys! I wish I would have seen the thread you posted Rob. The only place I could find a picture was the "LSx into '67-'69 Camaro, the basics" thread and he has it labelled wrong! That where all the confusion comes from. He had such and informitive post, I assumed that would have been correct.

I am still working on the 55 Nomad with a LY6 and 4L80 and am trying to figure out the fuel system. I am using a 2010 Camaro Intake and am considering a fuel tank set up with the pump in the tank. I was going to use 2 Stainless Steel lines. The 3/8 line for my supply and 5/16 for my return. I was told to use a fuel filter from a 2000 Corvette in order to eliminate the return line. How is this accomplished? I am missing something and don't fully understand. Further clarification would be greatly appreciated.

You need the 5/16" return line from the filter to the tank. What they are probably saying is with the 2000 Corvette filter you do not need a return line from the "fuel rail" to the tank which is true. As said you do need a return line from the filter to the tank.

Vette FPR and Return line. The Vette FRP is both a Fuel Filter and a Pressure Regulator. As with most Regulator, it needs to return or bleed off excessive pressure and fuel.
Just make sure you connect the inlet and return lines to the correct ports on the FPR.. else you will think you have not pressure to the fuel rail.. This has happen to many before (don't ask how I know.. haha)...
