Justed wanted to share a few pics of my 69 Chevelle. It use to be a Twin turbo ls2 408. Made the swap to lsx 434 with a single 98mm. I just got the car back from the chasis shop getting the cage and suspension work done.
The motor is a LSX block with Drangon slayer crank and GRP aluminum rods. Custom Diamond pistons with Extreme rings. It has L-92 heads, Edelbrock intake, fast 90mm, 160lb/hr injectors And controlled by big stuff 3.
Trans is a th-400 with a brake and all the good stuff from Coan. The fuel system is -12 to a weldon belt drive pump and regulator with a -10 return.
The rear has a 9" with 3.50 gear and 35 spline axles and a spool. All the rear suspension is Wolf with a doudle anti roll. I started the project a little over a month ago. Tearing it back apart now to get the paint done next week. My goal is to be a good driver and hope tto run 8.00 on a 275-60-15 drag radial. the car is all steel with full interior and weighs 3600lb. The cage is all moly and super nice.

Thanks for the replies. The hot side currently is a set of truck manifolds cleaned up. I have a set of custom headers being made for it that will sit in the same location. As for the 6 bolt heads, they are next on the parts list. I figured these would get me up and running for $500. The chasis was just complete and was 15k alone and the paint was 9k so im a little tapped for cash. Well over 40k in the last 2 month's. I hope next month I will hit the track. All I need is the car back from paint and its ready.
My goals are to run Wild street. The car is set up and has the power just needs track time. That class is a 7.80-8.20 feild. Do I have a chance?

I would say you have a very good chance. To think, all this on a 275 tire. Wow. Also, how long have you had this car? It looks like the car my little brother used to have, he sold it about 4 years ago. Do you know the history of it?

Nice stuff. I am building a turbo setup for a customer right now and my hot side stuff looks pretty similar. What method did you fabricator use to weld the manifolds to the stainless exhaust? Also has the car ran like that and how have they held up?
