Default L92 in an SN95... Questions

I have been doing a lot of research of an LSX swap in my Mustang. I was sure I was going to do an LS1 swap, but I'd rather do something different now.

I've been researching the GM LS motor line and now I'm leaning towards the L92 motor. I knew exactly what I needed to do to get the LS1 motor in, but I don't know what would need to change to do the L92 instead.

I was going to use the AJE K-member with LSX motor mounts, I am wondering if this will work with the L92?

Also, I was planning on using a 98-02 F-body T-56 transmission, will that bolt up to the L92 without problems?

The L92 has an electronic throttle body, will this be a problem? If so would I be able to change it to a cable operated throttle body?

What about the engine harnesss? Will I be able to use the L92 harness? Or will an engine harness from a LS1 Camaro or Trans Am work?

Thanks,

Jeff

The motor mounts, headers, and trans will work fine. I know it's possible to set the L92 up with a cable TB.

I figured that everything would be pretty much the same, just want to be sure before I actually get the motor.

Would the LS1 engine harness work with that motor? I don't want to use the truck harness due to the complexity and unusual setup.

u can use a ls1 24x harness. it will be easier to use a iron 6.0 with l92 heads and intake, along with a cable driven 90mm tb, do not have to use the e-tb
also do not need to use truck harness since they use dif. type injector plug.
not ev1 like ls1

Why would it be easier to use a 6.0 instead? I'm trying to stay within a budget also from what I've seen, 6.0's are more expensive. Also, which you referring to, the LS2 or the LQ9?

Would it be easier to use the e-tb?

why not use a 6.0 lq4? got mine with a 4l80e for $750. A L92 would cost too much since it's pretty new.

I've considered the LQ4. If I can't get an L92 at a decent price, than its pretty much between an LQ9 and an LQ4.

6.0 lq4 are generally cheeper than a l92
the lq9 is very difficult to come by and usually much more than a lq4.
they use same block, crank, heads, rods but dif.. pistons
lq4 is 9.4:1 scr and lq9 is 10:1.
the l92 engines come in iron 6.0 and alloy 6.2.
ls2 is a alloy 6.0
it will be easier to use a cable driven tb. in just about any car that originally came with cable driven tb.
it would be easier/cheeper to run with a lq4, with stock milled heads and mild cam. along with basic bolt ons. it will easily make 450+bhp with stock ls6 intake and tb
stock 317 6.0 heads flow just as well as ls2/ls6 heads
