Then I went to the Body shop.........The body and doors were being sprayed with the Base Coat.......So the spray booth pic's are without clear....

Then......Here are some pic's of the "Underside" of the Hood that had the clear applied.......First pic is in the dark of the shop.....2nd is with the flash.....you can see how it will look in the Sun......Pretty Cool!! Great job Howie!!...............Oh!!....By the way ......They spray Etching Primer over the bare metal and filler, then they overspray with Urethane Primer....More Pic's on Monday with everything cleared.......

We sprayed one of my cars and in the booth we thought it was going to look like wet denim...
the more clear we put on it the more it perked up. It kept getting lighter as it dried and we went home dejected thinking it wasn't going to match the interior. We returned the next day to find the color had completely transformed to what we thought we were supposed to be spraying. We gave it some sunlight and it completely transformed!
Ken, nice work as always! I'm anxious to see this baby move under it's own power.
The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
Paulette used to follow after HER MAN with the 4 KIDS in the family van. Almost EVERYWARE. [Thats a complete story by it self]
Ken chopped the top on my PRO STREET 38 Chevy Sedan Delivery. It was a thing of beauty. Just a little mud and it was perfect/straight as a lazer line. Ken offered to let this old guy drive his Chevelle convert on the Power Tour 2008. [again another whole story]
I know two things here.
1. As far as I know Ken has been self taught in all aspects of what he has been doing here.
2. I have never had a better friends than Ken and Paulette. From staying at their home to giving me a cars to drive when I'm in town {GTO} limo rides to airports, I could go on.
Ken and Paulette THANKS FOR EVERYTHING YOU ARE A TRUE FRIEND
If Ken and Paulette are your friends you are very lucky .
