I have always said do what you want with your car and enjoy it. But, some cars are special. A base model, high production 80s or 90s camaro, firebird or vette is just a car. An original Mako Shark Corvette or a Ram Air VI Trans Am is a special part of history. A GNX is damn special.
His Turbo Regal may not be a GNX or even a Grand National for that matter but it is still a fairly low production car and I would consider it special. However, if it were mine, the only question would be LQ9 or LS3?

I'm still here guys,,, bought a house, sold a house and worked like crazy over the last year. My plan is to sell a server I have no use for at home to fund this project along with my stash of GN engine blocks and misc parts.
I picked up a few swap books from amazon and am now looking for a good place to get an LQ4 and 4l80 with wiring, pump and stuff. Anyone know of a good place within 100 miles of lexington, ky?

I traded my 78 Malibu big block for a really nice 87 grand national that was pretty much completed minus engine and tranny. It doesn't hurt my feeling none to put the LSX in my national because it was already molested.
Kevin87turbot build is pretty close to what i'm going to do with mine, minus his exhaust set up.
