Eviltwin, I don't mean to hijack, but do you know of anybody makes headers for a ls1 swap into a 4wd s10? I can only find sbc headers for it. I wanna drop the 383 ls1 I have laying around in my syclone, and go with a supercharger, mostly for low end torque and simplicity, and perhaps go with a t56. I've heard people not liking the manual trannys in them, but that should be different with a supercharger. Any advice you can offer on a oilpan, motormounts, and headers would be much appreciated.
And I've said it before and I'll say it again,I LOVE the syclone and typhoon. You do great work.

No one makes headers for this swap. Also the only manifolds that will fit in the standard orientation is the 98' f-body ones. I made my own motor mounts but sytyperformance.com makes motor mounts, tranny mounts and an oil pan. The sy has a stock modified truck pan and the Ty has a modified turbo time pan. If I had to chose between the two I would run a stock one anyway of the week. I have zero experience with the sytyperformance one but it looks promising. On the t56... It takes a lot of work to get the tcase to bolt behind it. But if your going for fun and not for track times, a t56 would be sick.

I found a little more info on these. Looks like they have a bunch of options on primary size and mid length or long tubes. Summit shows they ship 10/11/2010. I would think they would make sure they fit before they start to mass produce them; just my $.02
