I need fuel line advice!
Here is what I have:
5.3 in a 69 camaro. I am using a stock tank with feed and return line. I am also going to use an inline walbro fuel pump. I am on a tight budget and don't know what I should do for the fuel lines. I do not have any experience with AN fittings and lines. They appear to be expensive at face value, but I ultimately want something that is safe and won't burst into flames going down the road. I would love to hear how you have handled your projects fuel lines. Thanks!

He took stainless steel 3/8 hard line to run his lines. This is what I plan on using for my build since most of my lines are 20yrs old.

hello matt1976. one option you may have is use the existing line with a intank fuel pump. in my application, '87 c10, i dropped the tank, replaced the fuel sending unit, added walboro electric fuel pump. fuel line to the rails needs to be at least 3/8 of inch, with 58 psi. the return line can be 5/16. walboro pump cost $125 or less. you may can reuse the the fuel sending unit. if pics are needed pm me. i ran braided fuel line for my application. good luck.

I hooked the line right on to the stock pickup. then ran a rubber line to the fuel pump and used rubber fuel injection rated line from the fuel pump to the adjustable professional products regulator. then used rubber fuel injection line to the stock 3/8 line to the front. I run a vented gas cap and hooked the return to the vent hose on the tank.I hooked into the stock fuel line on the engine with rubber fuel injection line here also but I am going to change it I think. I do have all the lines flared and double clamped. this was the cheapest way to go for me and it works great but I will see what other people have done. I think it was 100 for the pump and a 100 for the regulator.Pump and regulator are in the back by the tank with single line going to the engine. I wanted to make sure I could adjust the fuel pressure so I did not use the corvette regulator. I figured for 40 more dollars it was just easier.

You should look at the Corvette filter. It's a filter with built in regulator and has the return to the tank line built in. For $30 + shipping. Mount it close to the tank and run one line to the fuel rail...done.
