Default Info or P/N on this Air Intake Elbow & Tube?

I am intersted in the intake elbow used on this GMPP e-rod package. I can't package the air filter housing so I do NOT need that.

Here is a link to the photo in Hot Rod.

The elbow looks to be a factory piece that was used in this retrofit application. Anyone have application detail, or better yet, a GM part number?

Thanks

The elbow itself is the standard rubber elbow that came on all LT1 engines. Whats nice about it, is that it comes with an intake air temperature(IAT) sensor already in it. Will try to look through my papers to find my reciept with the part number on it for you.

Did you ever track down the part number or confirm if this came off LT1"s? I wasn under the impression the LT1 throttle body was oval versus round which would seem to prevent this from working?

Thank.

^If you look at where the tube meets the TB, the tube itself isn't directly on the TB, and there is some sort of funky bending and banding going on there, so looks like they did something (plastic welding, maybe?) to overcome this, or maybe it's just a different tube.

Just going for the factory look? It's probably going to be an overpriced solution that will hinder performance for sure.

Do you mean this?

If so the part number is 25147186. According to the above price sheet the part is $127... but GMPD has it for $78.87. I think there are much less expensive ways to skin that cat. I would take a trip to intake hoses via and talk to a guy about a 4" 90 degree rubber elbow, some straight pipe and maybe a coupler or two.

Thats the part number. The LT1 throttle body is oval & so is this LT1 rubber intake elbow. Many LS1/LS6, etc..., installers use them. They are a soft rubber and easily conform to a round throttle body shape simply by squeezing them slightly. No biggy. Some people just like them cuz their a GM part & look sortof factory. But, if you already have a IAT sensor, and a place & a means to install it, great. It also comes with the stainless hose clamps you need.

Kind of a small filter, don't you think? IAT port/provision?
