Default L92/LS3 into 68 Camaro Newbie needs swap help!

Hey guys, I have some newbie questions. Never swapped anything before.

1. Is there a gasket for the tranny/motor connection?
2. Will the stock L92 fly wheel work with a 4L70E?
3. Will the tach sensor from the L92 PCM work with the stock 68 tic toc tach?
4. Does the original 68 trans cross member cut out or is it bolted in?
5. How/where did you run the new efi fuel tank wires?
6. Did you put the computers in the glove box or under the hood?
7. Where do you get a custom drive shaft from? or Retool what you have?

Thanks!!

Any help on any of these issue very much appreciated!

1)No
2)Not sure, sorry
3)I believe you need some sort of dapter/interface of some sorts. Someone will chime in.
4)Bolted in.
5)you can run it down with the factory body harness/old sending unit wires and out to the new tank.
6)Your choice
7)Local driveshaft supplier or vendor to the right ~~~~~>

Be sure to take pics and share them here. This forum will answer just about any question you will encounter. Have fun !!!

I was looking at your pics and noticed you have your fuel line running across your intake manifold. IIRC.... you can flip your fuel rail 180* and clean up your eng. compartment.

On the fuel rail (and the rest of the car) I have not begun clean up yet. Still trying to get it running. Great idea on the fuel rail.

So you just pull it off and turn it around?

Andrew, on the shaft I do have 5-6" of splines in the tranny. Can I just get a longer yoke? Hate to pony up for another drive shaft.

Appreciate all the input.

68 Problem Child,

I was looking at your pics and I see the driver side PCV from the valve cover but I can't make out where you connected this at the intake end? Do you have any pics and or can you describe what you did?

BTW - Great looking car.

Default Pcv

I will have to get some more recent photos up. Thanks on the car.

My PCV goes from Drivers rear valve cover to pass side front of throttle body.

Passenger head cover goes to drivers side throttle body with a "T" for my air powered headlight doors.

I used to have a small air filter on the passenger valve cover (and the drivers side throttle body plugged) but was not sure if this was messing up my fuel trims with too much O2.

Most guys running this seem to have some type of oil catch can inline with tubes.
