Default coolant steam tube?

where are you guys putting them?
I know with LT1's its popular to tie it into the upper radiator hose. Just wondering what you guys are doing with your LS swaps.

The consensus here is to tie into the upper radiator hose
Tap the top of the water pump and run it there
Weld a bung on the radiator and attach it there

Its supposed to go to the highest point in the cooling system. Several people including myself have had success with a Tee into the heater core lines instead

my aftermarket Radiator had a bunt in place, so I was able to use a fitting and route the steam hose directly back to the radiator.

Car is a 92 firebird and the hose is for a 90 Ford F250 7.5L. I trimmed both ends to fit

The bung on the radiator is the ideal situation. If you have an alum radiator and access to a welder, its a great option. Same for people who go with the 4th gen radiators

My radiator had a bung in it also so I followed the upper rad hose and a little channel between the rad and support to the bung fitting. It is good to get it to the highest point to make sure the air gets out of the engine.

Thats what I am going to do too. I plan on trying to epoxy some clips to hold the steam on the bottom of either the upper hose or intake tube. Going for invisable

I thought of using some large diameter heat shrink that would go over the rad and steam hose to conceal it, but didn't try it. Or even some of that woven hose protection material would work too.
