Its been over 6 years since the 4wd has been operational, time to get it going and see what it does

I got this bone yard axle from a buddy, its the same axle and I thought it would be worth buying since I daily my truck and this would let me slowly build it up

I decided to weld all the areas that act as sleeves and from the axle to the differential housing. set up some matching 3.90s , and gave it an epoxy paint job

The dodge style strap yoke is weak, I broke a few with the 318 on 4wd launched, I found a 1330 yoke with the much bigger U-bolts and thats why I need the conversion joint

No additional wiring required, the transfer case is engaged by a switch

What are you going to do for a vss from the transfer case to keep the PCM happy when in 4wd

When I', in 4hi the computer is fine, I can shift to 4 lo and that throws off my shift points...I really don't need 4 low, but even if I did use it I can manually shift it 1st 2nd, anything faster then that and I may as well be in 4 hi...but just in case I need to pull a stump out...4lo + 3600 stall is mean

I thought about it more after I made the post and realized you didn't need to do anything.
The 360 blew up in my ramcharger so looks like I need to get the rest of my **** together and make this swap happen.
