Ls1 dodge ram!!!
Out of curiousity...why dont you want to go with manifolds? The 02 manifolds flow very well, almost as good as shorty's. You've already stated that you arent building the truck to go fast, so you wont really notice the headers vs. the manifolds in your application. If its just a preference thing...completely understand. Just curious.
Anxious to see this thing together and running! That LS looks TINY in there! You should see if you can get a 440 mock up block, and cut it out to fit over the LS and disguise it while filling up some of the space haha.
Good luck finishing it up!
J.
It's funny because the newer trucks are big too, but I guess all the extra crap in the engine bay fills them up.

I should have it rebuilt my the weekend and more pics will follow, I have also been waiting on a p/s pump that came in today, so I will be able to bolt up all the front acc.
I ran into one small problem when installing the np208....the front output hangs down lower then any other t-case and now I'm going to have to notch the crosmember, and space up the tranny mount about an inch
I am interested to see how it turns out, are you going to try and run AC?

I have the fuel system, just need to mount it up, finish shift linkage, and wiring. I'm going to save the wiring for last, but first I need to send my computer off to get the security turned off so theres no issue there.

Also, I'm just curious about the year on that Ram. My uncle had one of those, an early 90's model with the 5.9 Cummins diesel in it. Freaking awesome truck, dead nuts reliable, but the rust finally got to it around 250k miles and 15 years. It really was a shame, because that truck never missed a lick, I'm sure it could have gone another 150k in a more southern environment.
