I had to go through every wire on the fuse/relay harness so I could allow the computer to automatically turn on the fans, fuel pump, etc.

It took about 4 hours but it was well worth it vs. paying for the aftermarket harnesses

First start up after I went to PBJ (performance by joe) on hamton ave. He deleted the vats, some emmissions codes, and set the speedo just for a starting point untill I get the truck on the dyno

Skip to the end to see the motor up close. It is not running perfect, but it does run, I have a few vacuum leaks like the brake booster(just not hooked up) and the pcv system is not hooked up either. Plus I still have the old stock plugs and wires in there, Main thing was just to see if it would start before I routed all the wiring.

I still have a few loose ends to tie up, but there will be more vids during the test ride, and more pics of the wiring after its all layed out nice in the engine bay.

Damn man... I like that truck. And there's no mistaking that the sound coming from it is not an every day truck motor.

Was the last vid taken with exhaust hooked up?? Or open headers? If they are open, thats the best sounding open headed motor Ive heard haha.

I wanna see how that thing goes!!!

Awesome swap man. Subscribed, want to see the results as far as fuel economy and what it'll run. Do you plan to run it in 4wd or 2wd at the track?

2wd, the np208 is a light duty t-case, plus with the 440 it never spun to bad.

You got that right. I'm afraid to post on the classicoldsmobile forum about my E-rod swap for my Delta 88.

I weighed the truck at a local scale.

it was 4600 with the 440, now

full tank of gas with me 4220lbs. 4060 without me.
