Hey I'm doing a 1998 dakota 2wd ls1 swap, kinda making the R/T dodge should have. Where can I find some motor mounts to use that will work for it if you know?

U used some ls1 swap into a s10 mounts, they are very adjustable so it makes trying to mount/slide the motor in the engine bay much easier.

That is a really cool build. Sleeper truck all day. But, just out on a limp her. why not have it a bit lower. Or are we going mudding in our LS1 build.

Just badass. I'd like to do the same to my step-dad's 1999 Ram 1500 4X4. Throw a turbo or two on it and a stupid quiet exhaust and play in the dirt and on the way home shock Corvette owners

Brendon said you ran a 13.4, what was the trap? High 90s I'd guess. Congrats though! Can't wait to see it hit 12s!

Oh and I overheard you say a certain something to Brendon when you were on the phone that day we saw you at PBJ. Just something that you forgot to mention you had. Sneaky bastard.

LOL its all good, exact times were

1.92 60' 8.57 @ 80 mph 13.42 @ 96.8 mph....I looked at a bunch of times on other trucks and with the same ET most other trucks are in the 98-100mph range.. Maybe its the Smaller 98 Cam giving it more mid range and less top end....Either wayI'm happy with it...For now..the urge for 12's is overwhelming

The truck has alot off front end play and I pretty much had to steer it to keep it straight on the runs last Friday...I don't think it would have been a big difference, but with a tight front end , maybe a 13.399 at a tad bit more mph 97 ish would have been possible.

You're 1/8th times aren't that far off from my old times, obviously trap is a bit slower. I think you being up pretty high is cutting it down a bit. I was expecting 98mph, but you're close to that.

Still got that LS6 cam and heads laying around?
