Okay, the latest promise is end of this week. Should we start an under/over pool for January 7th delivery date?

The overs are the big winners.

I spoke with Chris, he says the oil pickup tubes are now done. They are putting together the hardware packages and intend to ship next week.

The latest word is that the pans are being shipped from the manufacturer to Mast on Tuesday. Chris said they will then add the baffles and hardware and ship them to us.

I only know what they are telling me. I would love to have the pan now, but I just don't have any control over their process. So, I wait. I am not in any type of pressure situation as it is just my hobby. I really want to play with my new toy though. I would choose another pan, but their has all the feature that my swap needs.

If you want to know more, call Chris.

I've got about two weeks before I order a cam, springs, and pan. I hope they have enough pans to fill current orders and new ones...

Hey Chris came over yesterday and we were discussing the whole oil pan deal. He just started laughing, I was like what the he'll is so funny. He said the whole thing was prank. There is an ongoing bet at Mast as to how long they hold interest in something that doesn't exist. The furtherest date is April fools day when the new HotRod hits the stands they are going to make the announcement. Sorry to let the cat out of the bag but it's not fair to all of you.

LMAO! If you really believe the message above you have little faith in Mast! Hopefully you will get your pans shortly. I may even ride by in my swapped LQ4-camaro and pick them up for you. Of course my 7th. Oil pan might be dirty from all that driving I have done while you wait.

The latest "next week" is now next Monday.

Pans are still in Michigan. Will ship tomorrow. (tomorrow never comes??)

Chris tells me that these pans use a LS2 style dipstick/tube. I read on a forum that they use a LS3 style dipstick/tube. Anyone know if these are the same and what the part numbers are for the correct dipstick/tube assembly?

Also Chris told me they are 5.5 qt capacity, did not specify if this was with or without the filter.

Waiting.........................waiting........... .......................waiting.................... .................still waiting.

He told me on Friday that they would be shipped from Michigan to him this Tuesday. I guess Tuesday has become Thursday?

I hope he got the dipstick assembly right. I already spent $40 buying the 2010 Camaro set up.

As for the capacity, I don't remember him telling me what it would be.

Oh yeah and I did email a copy of this thread to Chris. As far as I am concerned that is simply unacceptable business practice. You always always always under promise over deliver, not vice versa.
