1.77 60' on 235/60/15 MT ET street DR's in my datsun 280z

I was running a Datsun R200 open rear end with 3.90:1 gears and 300zx TT CV axles.

Later that fall I destroyed all the spider teeth out of the diff on a 4000rpm dump.

This past winter I installed a new(er) R200 differential with the same gears but added a Z31 300zx TT CLSD. I haven't been to the track since then however.

1.74 in a 88 rx7 convertible ls1/t56 26/8.5/15 MT ET Drags.

Eibach lowering springs and KYB Adjustables set on full stiff.

Pass was on motor only.. 11.84@121.xx if I remember correctly. Never got the car to 60' on the bottle because it broke an axle every time.

My friend had a best of 1.26 in a Supra. The key was a tall soft rear spring, fast compression setting, slow rebound setting on the shocks. The front was the opposite. This allowed the car to squat and stay down. No wheel hop, weight transfer to the rear.

Older vid, only went in the 6s 1/8 mile

This is a second gen RX7 with stock suspension geometry, using a 8.8" Cobra diff, and a custom cradle that I designed. No my car, but 60 foot times are below 1.30 seconds.

My buddy has a 96 S14 LS1 car with a custom QA1 shock setup.
Even with the suspension setup incorrectly he pulled a 1.7 on Et Streets at 20 psi.

We are going to set the Bump Stiffness a little higher so it doesnt squat as quickly and turn the rebound down so it wont bounce on us and lower the Tire pressure to 12 psi. Ill let you know how it does.
