Zipster your ps setup is exactly what I was planning on doing, but wound up just using the f body setup. Brian if you decide to use the truck stuff let me know I have some laying around. If you need some more info on the f body stuff let me know, I can get you some measurements or whY ever you need.

I did the same as Zipster for the PS pump but made a bracket for the alternator that mounted where the AC compressor was. I used the factory (for the swap car) compressor in it's factory location and created idler and tensioner pulley mounts for the occasion. Look at my build topic in my sig for pictures and PM me for questions if you have them.

zipster, your my idol right now, did u just bolt everything into holes that ever availbable in the cyclinder head and block? also what are you doing 4 an idler/tensioner?
and yes im interested in P/S and altenator parts, finally got some down time to start the swap, when i do i will have a full thread to look at because none seems to like the 73-77 body style
also what is there to use for cheap motor mounts? and if theres anything i can fabricate myself im not scared of a welder or plasma cutter, have access to them anytime i need them and am a fairly good fabricator

home made
I managed to use a Toyota previa power steering pump on a custom mounting bracket and an Audi A6 120A alternator also on custom mounting brackets, but using existing mounting holes in the block and head.
The Toyota pump is also silent in operation and fully rebuildable with a seal kit from Toyota.
Power steering Pump cost $12 and alternator $15, used from junk yard.

85 amp Denso alt off a 91 Celica, mated to a pulley off a Supra. The mini alternators sold by the speed catalogs are just Denso alternators. It is a couple of inches smaller in diameter than the Delco units.
JY charged $20 for alternators around here, so guess mine is the high dollar solution.

Tensioner is a turnbuckle on the alternator, they are available from most decent hardware stores. Usually under $5.00, The way I routed the belt, there is no need for an idler.

Also used the bolts from the tensioner to mount alternator, just had to space it out it align it with the crank. Used existing holes and hardware.

Am I the only one wondering about the minimal amout of belt wrapped around the lower pulley and water pump on that first set-up? I would think belt slippage would be an issue. Seems like mounting the power steering pump higher might help both concerns I have though.Just my .002
