Anyone mod their water pump??? Need advice.
So i had no idea what hoses to use to connect my pump to my radiator. So i figured i'd just pick up the hoses that where ment to go with my engine. I got silverado upper and lower from an auto parts store. The upper i can use, i'll only be using about 1/4 of it, but the bends work in my favor. The bottom is killing me.
Worse come to worse i can have my radiator outlet cut and rewelded at work, but i still need some sort of 90 bend on the water pump outlet.
What can i use? Is there something i can pick up at home depot??
I really want to get the motor running tomorrow. So any ideas are appreciated. Also if you have pics or know of some other threads that may help me feel free, a search didn't help me too much, i must be using the wrong key words since i know i have seen some similar just browsing in the past.

Take a piece of wire and bend it how you need the hose to go to make the corners to connect each end. Take the pattern to auto parts store and ask them to let you look thru their wall of radiator hoses. It is amazing all the different bends the various stock hoses have. I am sure you can find one that will work for the setup you have pictured. You may have to buy a longer hose and cut it down...remember to think outside the box as you look for the right bends.

Or you can cut the stock thermo housing off at the flange, re-clock it and change the angle and weld it back on.
