something like a 249/252 around .6teens to .620 lift on a 108+2 or +4
Only reason I say that is i;ve tried diff combos on my stock bore 6.0 and this is what I got the most out of, although my f body is 3199 w no driver in it. 4600 converter, 28/10.5, 4.86 gear(too much gear).
my cam is a cammotion custom grind 249/252 .620/.612 108+4

Hey, billy. Hate to go off sideways again, but I have a question. Could you tell me at what RPM you cross the stripe on 1/8 mile ? Reason I ask is I'm trying to figure out a constant number to use in my formula to find speed or RPM from gear ratio and tire size. Most standard formulas don't allow enough for slippage of the convertor at speed. Are your tires 26" or 28" ? Most use a constant of 336 for manual trans, the old MOPAR PERFORMANCE used 340 for automatic. Mine seems to come out closer using 355. That figures out around 5-7%. I'm curious how much slippage a convertor like yours has. Sorry, if this sounds confusing.....just humor me
Ron

Impressive numbers! _I had wondered what a stock lq4 6.0 would run.
Is that 2700 lbs with driver?
Have you thought much about using a much tighter lobe separation to build some cylinder pressure.
110lsa+4 or even tighter like 108 or 107.
DMMizell has commented in a few posts that the tighter 110 lobe sep. was a big part of the success of his lq4 shortblock 6.0/L92 combo.

It dont make crap for rwhp dyno numbers, the loose converter, short gear, and 9in w/ slicks. hurt it on the dyno numbers, only 450rwhp. I swapped on drag radials and picked up 80 to the wheels, back to back runs, so it made 530 with mickey drag radials, its crazy how much power the slicks rob.
If you stuck it in a normal geared car, like a 6 speed car and with 3.42s, you are looking at more like mid 500srwhp, I assume it makes around 580-600 flywheel.

That is awesome!
The various online bench racing calculators put that ZO6 cammed LQ4 at 470-480 hp and the equivalent of low 10:40's

Great thread. For what its worth, I am running a stock C6 Z06 (LS7) cam in my L92. The engine is stock except for an LS3 intake, throttle body, dual valve springs, and Edelbrock headers. It put down 418RWPH through a Richmond 6spd and a 12 bolt rear.
My point is that if you go with the L97 heads down the line, I wouldn't run a crazy cam. Maybe give the LS7 cam a try.
