Default which lsx swap kit into a fox is best?

I've been researching swapping a lsx in fox. I've read about a couple kits...the aje & brp kit. Sounds like the aje kit is better..

If anybody knows of a different swap kit please post a link or details..

Also if anyone knows the website to go to for the aje or brp kit I would appreciate it..

I've read about these kits threw threads couldn't find their website.would really like to start researching and find the best kit

I used a QA1 K member for a 4.6 and then made my own mounts on it. BUT, QA1 doesn't tell you that unless you used their A arms and such then there is a ton of fab work to be done to get caster and camber to actually work. AJE seems like they are just a drop in set up. Or just fab your own mounts on a 4.6 K member as stated above.

yes, well kinda. if you use a stock 4.6 k you will have to oblong the 4 rear small mounting holes. no big deal.

I used the aje kit, got it from winbush racing, search here he is around. Here is AJE's web site. http://www.ajeracing.com/

I used coil overs up front, UPR c/c plates, and stock control arms with poly bushings. I can upgrade to tubular arms later.

The AJE kmember bolted right in, it has lots of clearance, nice piece, priced great also.

a little confused..didnt see a k member specificly for the ls swap in a fox.. they have k members for foxbodys and motor mounts for a lsx in a fox.. is that what you bought?

Yes, I bought the k member, and mounts.I contacted Earl Winbush at prorider310r@yahoo.com he is a AJE dealer. got a great deal, When I bought my kit 6 months ago it was $360.00 for the k member and mounts shipped to my door. Not sure on the price now. Email him for a price.

@ zipster just wondering... how much did your swap cost you minus the motor cost?

Just off the top of my head.......

$1030 for the engine assembly, computer, harness, intake/exhaust manifolds, mass air meter, alt, water pump, power steering pump, a/c compressor and all hoses

$1400 for the M6 GTO trans

$360 AJE k member and mounts

$150.00 headers Jegs U weld it

$350 for the fuel system, 255 pump, Corvette regulator/filter, aluminum lines,

$320 2008 z06 clutch new

$30.00 ls1 intake

$120.00 Reground Delta cam

$ 60.00 yellow z06 springs

I still need a drive shaft, Abbott cable X, exhaust, misc hoses and a tune

I re used as much as I could from the engine assembly. I would say I am about $2500 to $3000 in the engine swap including the engine.
