Do you have a part number for this? Do I understand correctly that you modified the original OEM wires by adding the MSD boots? Looks simple enough. Getting just boots and ends is a lot cheaper than buying the wire and building from scratch.

Here's the part # for the msd boots. MSD part number is: 3301

I asked the OP the same thing in a PM and this is the number he gave me. I hope the OP doesn't mind me chiming in for him

No problems what so ever BBC632! Yes Bandit I did cut the factory wires short and attached the new boot and terminal. I guessed at it and was ok on one and not so ok on the other. I think the cost is around $6 for a set of two. I bought mine from Oreillys auto. They had to order them but the kit was there the next day.

Radiator is buttoned up tight so is the fan shroud. Here is a pic of the upper and lower hoses in place. I ended up using the 90 degree water neck. I drilled a 1/8" hole in the thermostat and rotated it to the top. This trick has worked great in the past to help bleed out the cooling system. I am unsure if it will matter since the thermostat is so low.

Alright I am sure I will hear some **** over this air intake setup but it was cheap and available. If you do not recognize the air intake tubing, run down to the basement and look up. It is schedule 40 sewer pipe. Its made of ABS and thick. I am sure it will keep out any unwanted heat from the air charge. Like I said it was a cheap quick way to run the piping. About $45 for the couplers, pipe, fittings and glue. I will eventually go with some flash but then again my build isnt about flash its more go than show. I bought the Spectre air filter from Oreillys for around $30 and it seems to be built nicer than I expected. It is reusable as long as you clean it and reoil it.

We are getting closer and closer each day. I am limited on time to work on her until I clear out a couple of other projects first. Wiring will be next, yippeeee!!! No, not really that excited!!! Last but not least will be the fuel system. If everything falls into place and no other mishaps are stumbled upon maybe within the month she will be moving under her own power.

I am not sure if it can be bent. Maybe lay the heat on it it might bend. Appreciate you not raking me over the coals on the sewer pipe racing setup. **** pipe racing is more of a catchy name. I might even get a friend of mine to make me up some decals to label the tubing.

If you hadn't said it, noone would have noticed. A bunch of four inch metal tube held together by silicone couplings doesn't look any better. It probably looks worse and absorbs more heat like you said.

Congrats on getting that radiator to work. Very neat and clean.

Yeah man got have the all original look! When I received the car back from the body shop I wanted everything to work properly. It is actually functional and I did put a new pump on the wiper motor. Now I wish I would have purchased a DSE wiper motor and not run the washer fluid.

You sir are a smart man. I just reread some of your posts and came to the realization that few people can drive your car the way it is set up with manual steering, brakes and transmission. This way your son and wife can't borrow the car.

Unfortunately for me I've got a slush box, power steering and brakes and my wife thinks, she's going to drive it. Maybe I better leave the interior out for a while and not fix the wipers.

LOL. I haven't seen many females (GFs/wifes) who WANT to drive any muscle car unless it has great paint and AC.

My woman doesnt like the loud exhaust, the smell of gas, no a/c, and the manual transmission. I have no fear in her driving it anytime soon. The son on the other hand will like all the above mentioned but he is forbidden to drive it. I rode with him today and let me tell ya he has a long ways to go before he will be cut loose on his own. I have rode in some fast cars with insane *****'s driving and I was in more fear for my life today than all the other times combined. I like the "mean green" rat rod look. I say get the everything else done and throw a set of wheels on her and drive it. It begs for attention like it is and will attract a lot more people. It may not win any car shows but it will turn heads.

A little off topic but here is what I had to take careof today. This was the morning project. I also had to start the disassembly of the pontoon boat so I can replace the carpet. I also started to unwind 50 feet of tape off of the wiring harness my guy reworked for me. It had an elbow in the main wiring so I went through and had to straighten it out. 8 beers later its time for some R&R.
