Some parts came in.

Flexplate and spacer from autozone

New ILX ****, Im going to cut down the shifter shaft some since it sits way to high. But it does seem to work need to figure out how to bolt it down though. I though the set screw threaded into the **** itself and tightened against the shaft but the **** holes don't have any threads so the ILX shaft must be threaded.

Non-ac heater box and tube came in and painted my ls1 brakes.

And pictures from this past weekend of transmission rebuild. Had to stop early since we were confused on the proper clearances of the clutches in the direct and forward drum but it was because we soaked the fibers before assembly then checked clearances so Jake said the reading we got were fine.

New studs and bearings in the turned down hubs that s106banger made for me. Still waiting on conversion brackets from flynbye to see how much else to trim off the spindle before I can bolt the caliper on.

My buddy cut down my stock rotors for me. He does that on the side in the shop he works for. He does sell them and will set the brackets for the calipers shortly. I can get you his contact info if your interested. I know he's sold a few hubs to other s10 owners.

Had to go get a tap for the shield bolt holes since you tap them to a 7/16-20 thread from the tiny thread they are with the shield.

Did you ever figure out the fuel gauge reading backwards? I didn't read all the pages cause there's so many lol. On the Colorado when swapping a v8 in you have to switch the wires on the fuel pump cause it reads backwards as well.

Valvebody is all rebuilt with new seals and filters, Modified the separator plate per Jakes instructions.

Installed 7 of the 8 checkballs leaving out the one for 3rd feed

New wiring harness and sensors.

Ready to roll possibly. Getting installed tomorrow asap.

Anyone know what this spring went to? I remember it being removed while taking out the old filter, harness etc. Service manual doesn't mention it.

Current performance wiring has a module that wires into the fuel sender and inverts the ohms to read correctly. It was designed for Colorado swaps and Jared had me try it on my swap but it didn't work correctly. It read the correct direction but it was now off by half a tank and took over 5 mins just to get to that reading. Since the harness ecu and tcu is at Current performance currently for the conversion to auto he is looking at the module also and seeing if he can change the calibration in it to work with my e67 ecu. But thanks for the heads up on those wires. If all else fails I will for sure try that.

Tonights endeavor, Got the trans in with plenty of room. Hardest part was getting the trans onto the 2x4 onto the jack all while under the truck since the trans wouldn't clear the engine crossmember when I tried rolling it all under already on the jack.

Old t56 crossmember should be close to fitting if I cut the welds off the old flat plate and flip it.

Got a new ls2 flat pulley waterpump and thermostat. Sure did free up a lot of room up front compared the old ls1 boob pulley.

I'm going to guess those where manufactured by Ace Alloy wheels - they where nice but man are the bitch to clean.

I had them on my c6 for 3 years - sold them and got a set of comp grey z06 wheels.

You can fit a 295 35 19 on the back there.

275 35 18 up front.
