So here is some inside LS7 bling.
Take notice of balanced crank, 6 bolt mains, CNC ported exhaust ports.
Dry sump system.
Oil pan rail has gasket riveted to the pan.
The engine had 3 gal of oil in it. Guess we hook up the tank and it pumps it into the tank!

Note: Tuff Stuff did exchange the alternator. The alternator supplied was not black, was also a one wire system. Normal ok. With a GM ECU harness, it needs to get a signal for alternator, if not would have a charging fault code.
Dominic at Tuff Stuff exchanged the alternator no charge and also supplied a black unit. It did come with a adapter plug that I eliminated buy changing the pin socket on harness to plug directly.
NOTE:
Vintage air was a *** about the alternator problem. They have no idea how close they came to getting this complete front drive system back. They need to address there customer service. IMO
