Thanks for the input!
i have been thinking about the fuel system because it is coming up soon and i came up with this.
i believe it is the exact setup that carshop had in their red s10. i remember reading and arguement that he had it set up wrong but he said many people did it like this and his truck turned out fine so i think im going with this set up. tell me what you think.

pretty expensive though!
im gonna prob run a manual brake set up with a new wildwood mc, or a reverse 90 setup, which offers a clean firewall and may be cheaper if you could get it to fit and work well, with your dash
prob should run a prefilter too, cause that will help save you pump... in case bad fuel etc... so prefilter-pump-filter that can connect directly to the pump also

Haha I looked into it and it is pretty expensive way over my budget atleast. I want power brakes though cause it will be a street truck too so I don't want to mash the pedal all the time. I ended up picking up a 7" booster which should work. I was pondering the pre filter idea so I'll probably add one of those in also. I just wanted to make sure it was all set up right.
Got bored while I'm still waiting for my dad to finish up my crossmember so I decided to paint my water pump and alt/power steering bracket
Hopefully drop it all in soon cause everything on the engine is complete

The gen 1 guys swap to a grand cherokee steering shaft. Late 90's I think....
Stock 98-99 fbody manifolds fit fine but suck for flow.
Hooker has some cast iron manifolds coming out next month that look like they might fit.

What did you do about your oil supply line?
You should be able to get a line made pretty cheap at the local hydraulic place.
Just ask for -4 single braid hose w/ JIC ends.

Hey T76s10, I was thinking, you got the muscle car oilpan, which I think is the H3 alpha/colorado pan, and yous still had to notch the crossmember? What motor mounts did you go with?
#114
My oil supply is coming from the port right above the oil filter and I'm gonna run -4an line and fittings from jegs since I'll be doing the same for fuel line except larger hose. I used carshops poly mounts but I think what I did differently was the tranny was already attached before I put it all in and I didnt have the truck on stands. Plus I hear it's close if you don't notch it and with 500hp that engines gonna move and I'll have a little more peace of mind knowing I won't hit the crossmember. It also makes it easy to remove everything. Wasnt hard to notch with a cutting torch anyway lol.

Even with 500hp, I don't think the motor is going to move much at all with the poly mounts. I hear where you're coming from with wanting extra clearance though.

Yeah I wouldn't think they would but it makes it much easier to put in/take out the engine and tranny cause I'm pretty sure this will come out at one point lol. Unless I trade for a grand national in the future.
so i got a pretty good chunk done within the last few days and everything is mocked up now and i got ALOT of pictures for you guys. clearance will be really tight but i think ill be able to manage; hopefully.... lol
the stock crossmember my dad cut up and welded
the front crossmember notched.
getting dropped into the truck
how it sits
passenger side clearance, barely cleared the HVAC when the mounts were moved forward
drivers side clearance.
still not sure if my manifold will hit flipped. need to cut a part off of it still.
my champon 3 row radiator
now heres where the pickle comes into play, am i going to be able to fit an electrc fan in this 2 1/4" gap? was planning on using taurus fan but scratch that idea.
give me some input on what you guys did for the fan and let me know. i think i might be able to get by with jegs dual fans or even spal.

Yeah I was thinking about fbody fans. How much Cfm do they flow?
Well ordered f body fans today along with a couple grand more in truck parts so hopefully this fan works I'm taking your word for it. Only thing I need to buy is rear end, intercooler piping, turbo piping, tranny cooler, harness, ecm, hp tuners and then wheels and cal tracs. Does anyone have hp tuners I can buy? I don't really wanna spend $500 on one.
Got some eye candy for you guys
On3 76mm sleeve bearing turbo. .96ar exhaust housing.
Didn't wanna pay almost twice the price for a master power and I heard these are pretty good turbos. Of course it ain't a ball bearing turbonetics but it'll do for what I need it for.
Didn't finish much today but got the fuel cell mounted and parts all sorted out. Oh yeah the bed got coated a few days ago with dupli colors bedliner, it looks nice and won't wear off cause its a drag truck so I won't be hauling anything.
The -8an feeds. Only need one so the other is getting capped
Lowering kits being installed tomorrow and possibly fuel lines, if my pump ever comes in the mail
Between this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, I'll have around 20 hours of garage time with my buddy Joe to get some serious work done on this truck. I know that sounds kinda gay, I know, butt **** it. Haha...

Thanks man. Got my intercooler in last night along with more turbo parts. The intercooler is a cheap ebay cx racing with a core of 31"x3"x12" and I only paid $119 for it shipped. I wasn't expecting anything too fancy but the quality seems pretty descent for what I paid for it. Hopefully it keeps my IAT's down. Here's a few pics how she looks.
Got some work done today. Found out that in order to fit the intercooler in you need to trim the grille quite a bit.
First I placed it where I wanted
Then marked where I had to cut (I cut alot more than just this on both sides)
Here's how it looks now all mounted with the grille on
Also got the truck lowered. Only the front though since I don't have the 8.8 in yet. Kinda hard to tell in pictures
Did you ever know you could fit inside a v8 s10 engine bay? Joe proved me wrong lol
Got the fuel feed done and almost the fuel return. Got the regulator and gauge mounted too just gotta run a line back to the cell. Will take pics of the pump and filter tomorrow
Tomorrow I'll have breaks done, seats mounted, and hopefully radiator and fans in
